Re: Jeep Jamboree Canada is BACK for 2010
$630 dollars for wife and 2 kids and me. Money up front, no info on trails or what they're running. I am not a cheapster but this is a little steep, a family rate would be nice. Looks to me like somebody is trying to make a real big pocket of cash!!!! This will turn out to be a well over $1000 weekend. Expensive trailride with some $100 sandwiches. Too bad i always wanted to go on 1 of these!!

Seen it posted on other forums and then tried to register myself and the prices came up. When i was on there site (in first post) on Sunday the prices did not come up. Maybe they are rethinking it. The price list was 185 per adult and i think 145 for 12-18yrs and 115 for 5-12yr and under 5 was free, not 100% sure should have wrote them down. Just seen that it was 630 for me and deciced to wait and rethink lol.

Still ouch!
I don't understand, is it that expensive to secure the rights to drive on the trails? Or is the food expensive? Insurance? They couldn't find any volunteers to prepare the trails? I don't know.

I'vee been looking forward to going to one of these for awhile but I don't think at these prices it'll be this year.
Was really surprised at the lack of info on the page to.

I am going. The last time I was there all the meals were catered. They do have the rights to trails in the area. The type of trails is depending on how much you have done do your Jeep. There are basic stock trails to trails than can roll over your Jeep. The only thing you will have to do is find lodging. There is lots of campgrounds nearby. They are a lot of fun and worth going to.

I do not believe this is an ACTUAL CHRYSLER SPONSORED Jambo. It's sponsored by a Chrysler Dealership (maybe) But I don't think it has anything to do with Chrysler Canada. It seems more like a business venture, not enough info is available for me to send in any money.

Did a check for driving 4 entertainment.com and couldn't find anything. Anyone know of someone that went to the Port Alberni Jamboree? Did it even go?
