Howdy Fans! So can someone set me in the right direction here. I'm definitely NOT a financial wizard or politically savvy, so I'm unable to solve this idea.
Apparently the Suzuki Samurai is still being manufactured, but not for sale anymore in Canada or even the U.S.A. for that matter, as it doesn't meet our safety standards and is prone to roll-over (as I understand it). This does not include other Suzukis that do meet the standards.
Also, the famous Jeep of WW 2 era is being manufactured to this day in the Philippines, I believe, but don't wait to see one here soon.
So if the government has THAT much influence in this business, how is it that it is unable to keep our "big 3" on their toes. Although they deny it, I for one, can't believe that they are in no way somehow responsible for our own auto industry problems. The taxpayer just pays and pays and .................................................. .................
