6 Hours to Tims...
What kind of hell am I in...
My step father found the closest Tim Hortons by pure luck Yesterday... 6 hours northwest in West Virginia. a short 20 minute drive from the parents new house...
At least he brought some home this morning... Good Man!
I get used to one every 4 blocks in the GTA...then head to Northern NB where theres one 30 minutes apart, then to 6 hours away... life is just not fair...
but it looks like i'll be making a trip up to the mountains in a few weeks... tank of gas to and from... ouch... but worth it lol

Don't worry Mike, me and the boy's drank enough over the last week that when you get tired of being americanized they'll still be in business.
Don't feel bad about the addiction, in the late 80's Cinnabon (Cinnamon buns to die for) closed here in Alberta and the g/f and I found out there was a store in Tacoma. We drove from Calgary to Tacoma and back in a weekend so we could get a couple dozen.
Thinking about it now I can't really say we've gotten any saner with age...

yea i mean they do have a few places down here that offer a decent coffee don't get me wrong, theres no one place that offers what all Timmy ho's does.
It's really the combination of out wheeling in the jeep, getting the **** scared out of ya, getting it stuck, fixing a flat, just generally having a good time, then heading down to tim's to recap over a bowl of delicious soup, a sandwich and coffee at 3am that just makes it a great place...
Tim Hortons will soon be the largest employer in Dalhousie... since their shutting down the NB Powerplant in the new year, i mean its a tie with the schools, but their getting cut back, and alot of people are moving away... only 10 english kids are enrolling in school next year... so yea... cut backs!!!

Re: 6 Hours to Tims...
I know i got spoiled out in Oakville/Mississauga i mean i know there had to be atleast 4 within 5 minute drive in any direction... then i really got spoiled when there was one 3 in Campbellton where i was living... but all equal distance from me (one next door to work)... then i move to Dalhousie where its a 5 minute walk, could literally throw a puck at it (Dalhousie is a hill)
and now 6 hours...
It better be good too... im going to be pissed if i cant get a decent Extra large triple triple, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and Cream of Broccoli soup!
