Removal
First off disconnect the negative cable from the battery
Calk mark the wiper arm to spindle relationship
After marking the position , grasp the wiper arm, insert a ice pick in to release clip hole and pull the arm assembly off the spindle
Remove the hold down bolts at the corners & fold the windshield forward, out of the way
Remove the wiper motor screws or bolts.
Grasp the motor securely, lift it out through the access hole and detach the drive arm by prying it off the pivot
DO NOT REMOVE THE PIVOT NUT
On models with intermit wipers remove the 2 screws & detach the wiper module from the instrument panel.
Reach up under the instrument panel in the passengers compartment and unplug the motor electrical connector,
then remove the wiper motor from the vehicle.
You might want to invest $10-15 bucks max at Cdn Tire and buy a Jeep Wrangler 1987 thru 2007 all models
HAYNES manual number 50030 on pages 12-14 and 12-15 with diagrams it shows you how to do all this.
