I enjoy reading this thread on the American Jeep Forum, so let's start one here.
I installed TJ bumpers on my YJ.

Recently I made a speaker box out of a pvc elbow.
I also did the drop down tailgate mod.

I love that tail gate mod. Do you have a link to a nice "how-to"? Yesterday I removed my diff covers to inspect and be sure what I have: stocker 3.07s in seemingly decent condition.

It was not hard, you just need 2 gate hinges and some sheet metal screws. I am going to replace the screws with nutserts so I can use counter sunk bolts so it will look better.
I used swingset chain as well because its covered in plastic.

That's great. I have extra swing chain from the kids' play structure, so that should work great. What are you using to hold the chain ends?

well... not actually today, but in the last 10 days...

removed "sport" decals... and others
Paint: Body Proform trim black (semi gloss hides a lot of ...experience)
Hard Top: "Nutmeg" from home Depot
Floor and box: Rubberized rockerguard

Made new decals to go on the side above "Jeep" (Rebel Alliance)

Painted Steel Wheels Graphite metalic, put alloys away for summer.

That's it :) Pics to follow.

This was yesterday, but I figure it still applies ;)
Dana 35: axles, carrier, bearings and pinion removed without mishap (gearing change).
Dana 30: Broke one bolt removing hub, 1/2 inch breaker bar removing axle nut from drivers' side, but eventually axle and hub were removed. Passenger side went smoothly, everything was removed without incident...almost. I broke one of the little bolts holding the vacuum disconnect cover when I used my air rachet to "remove" it (always double check the forward/reverse switch ). I was so exhausted from the drivers' side, I thought I would save some energy...HA! Carrier, bearings and pinion came out without issue. I even started installing the ring gear on to the LSD diff I bought. I got tired and decided I will finish another day though.
