Default New Jeeper needing advise

Hey guys im gonna be new to the jeep world. Im thinking of buying this check link.
http://barrie.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1988-Jeep-Wrangler-bold-Convertible-W0QQAdIdZ239648705

Anyways need advise when it comes to these. It needs doors and it has the full ones on there. Now can I just get the half doors and they will still work with the hard top? Also do the doors I get have to be from 1988?

Any advise is appreciated. Advise in what to look for before buying is also GREATLY appreciated.

just checked out ad looks good. Take it for a drive to see if it has a wobble or anything funny because of spring over lift. find out if rear drive shaft has been made longer because of lift. Double check frame by rear leaf spring. 35 in tires will be hard on little dana 30 & 35 axles but if drives nice go for it. Jeeps are great fun. More fun with a v8

Ya the body underneath is mint. It was just built from the ground up. My concern is whether or not to buy it because I dont know if the specs work together. Also the electrical I hear can be problems. What about gas mileage? how many kilometers to a tank you figure?

if it hasn't been regeared it will be a pig on fuel I have an 87 it came with 3.07 and I have 33's it was very bad on fuel. If it was windy no top gear on highway, Never stopped me from driving it. Electrical trouble I've never had any. But it looks good. It is a Jeep. As for the doors i think 87 to 95 fit.Good luck on purchase.
