Canada Need some advice buying a jeep yj

Hey guys I'm determined to buy a jeep! And I'm looking at a yj this is what the description is "1992 Jeep YJ for sale. Has the 4 litre fuel injection engine. Lift kit with 33" Mud Boggers. Has a hard top, soft top, bikini top and tonneau cover. Have two sets of doors. 2 sets of tires and rims. Has a Champion 9500Lb winch. "

He's selling it for 6000 with every thing or 3000 for just the jeep with its stock tires and hard top.

As I have never purchased a jeep before I'm totally in the dark as to if this is good or not.

I would suggest doing g a though body inspection ( all corners, door edges, front quarter panels an the floor. Lift the carpet. Body farms where the shackles contact) also at $6,000 for a jeep that old I would ask the seller to meet you at your mechanic's for a once over. It cost you a few bucks even if you don't buy it but its worth it

I would never pay that kind of money for something that old (pause for wise cracks) whatever condition it was in. Check the frame where the steering box attaches, they sometimes crack, especially if you are in an area where rust is a problem.
