Default Looking to buy a Jeep...need advice

Hi,
I am looking to buy a Jeep again, after previously owning a 91 YJ.
I do about 160 km dailiy of highway driving and wondered which would be better for highway driving, the 4 or the 6 cylinder (standard of cours). Also, can anyone offer any info on gas mileage for both.

Thanks.

Generally the 4's are better on gas then the 6's. 6's give more low end torque though which is nice. It's a tradeoff.

Well "Jeeper2009" did u buy a jeep? A 4 banger with small tires newer ones have 2.5 lit motors gearing not sure what they have, but once u put big tires and other offroading stuff on it, you wud have better off to buy a 4 lit (or 3.8 as the new ones are called) mileage at this point isn't much different. If you have the bucks go for a Rubicon, its got gearing, lockers, heavier duty axles and alot of the stuff u will want for offroading.I make 19 mpg with 33"
