Canada Help with Brakes-1993 YJ

Hello, looking for some advice. I have a 1993 YJ and completely replaced the brakes (disks, pads, shoes, hardware and drums). I was getting heat buildup on back drums (wheel rims almost too hot to touch). The garage suggested that the pads were not properly bonded so I paid for another set of riveted shoes. Still getting heat. I have backed off the adjustment, the jeeps rolls freely and shows absolutely no resistance even on a gentle incline. Any ideas on what might be causing this heat as I am afraid of doing damage. The last garage indicated heat build up was normal but I do not think so. The front brakes and rims are cool but the rear even after backing off the adjusters significantly are still hot.
Any comments would be appreciated….

Have you checked the oil level in the axle?

Is it possible that the parking brake is not coming off completely, It does not need much contact to generate a lot of heat.

Thanks again, checked that and there is lots of play in the parking brakes, I just cannot find where the heat is coming from. When I put the drums on there is lots of play, probably too much but for now I have backed off the adjuster. The drums are new and show no sign of rubbing. I should have left the old brakes on as they were working perfectly!!
