Default Rock Krawler TJ 4" lift kit

In some times, a 4" lift kit for Jeep TJ requires a drop transfert case kit or a SYE with a C.V. driveshaft.

I'm very interesting to buy the Rock Krawler TJ 4.0 short arm flex system or the Rock Krawler TJ 4.0 entry level system. In the Rock Krawler web site, it have no information about this kit.

The web site of Tellico4X4 and CT Motorsports (see links below) have this mention: 97-02 requires a transfert case drop kit or a SYE with a C.V. driveshaft and 03-06--present requires (only) a SYE with a C.V. driveshaft.

Before i'm buy one of this kit, i want to know why the 2003 and newer TJ requires only a SYE wiht a C.V. driveshaft conversion. What the difference between the 97-02 TJ and the 03-06 TJ for the necessary of this additional parts.

I Have a 2005 TJ Sport with a rear axle Dana 44 and i want to know if a drop transfert case kit is good.
