Lifting my 2004 TJ.
I have a 2004 TJ, stock everything. I love off-roading and just sold my off road vehicle to purchase this Jeep. I plan on getting it lifted and putting on 35"s, was just wondering what size lift/lifts should I get and what type/types of lift (Body, Suspension) and what brand.

There are many lift kits Superlift has a very complete kit 4" , there Rough country/Tuffcountry/Rubicon express. With 35" you can do a 4" and still have lots of space for the tires without hitting anything. The main thing is look around take the kit that is complete, some will be missing parts and its doesn't pay to cut corners and end up having to buy something that could have been in the kit. Stick to a suspension lift. Going to high will make it difficult to handle in windy weather plus adding to the roll over easier on cornering. You should get a complete kit for under $1000. Cdn

So you would suggest the Superlift 4" kit? Also I had a few people say I should get a 3" body lift with the 4" susp lift or just a 6" susp lift with the just to keep my tires from rubbing when rock crawling. What should I be looking for in a kit? Do you have a sight you could recommend me to for the lifts as well?

a slip yoke eliminator is a must.i only have 2.5" susp lift and am having rear driveshaft issues.stay away from hack and tap kits.plan on spending $400.00 plus for a good one a new rear shaft will also be needed.plan on adding about $800.00 on top of your lift all lifts will raise the center of gravity. how hard do you use it offroad?is your stock susp still good or are springs getting soft?going with relocated body panels eliminates the need for driveshaft and steering corrections while maintaing closer to stock handling charicteristics and keeping cener of graity low.i wish i went this route

So I should get a new driveshaft for just my back axle or get both driveshafts? And I think I'll get one of the full ones from Skyjacker for $2000 and offroad wise I just go mudding and trail riding, no rock crawling or anything. Looking for a kit that willletme flexsome for the trails are some what washed out. What do you mean by reloacting the body panels, not sure what that is?

Im not interested in the fenders. I don't want the lift just so I can fit the tires but so I can go off-roading without having to worry too much on what my Jeep can and can not tackle.
