Clutch Question
Hi all,
With my foot off the clutch pedal/not pressing it in while in neutral the clutch makes a sort of light rubbing noise. While driving there's a little noise coming from the transmission it's definitely not the engine. I just want to know if other TJ 04's have this in common or if it's a sign of something bigger.
In other words, does anyone have a quiet TJ? I had an 08 Wrangler that was much quieter, so I'm comparing the noise difference with that. But the 08 was automatic (ex-wife couldn't drive standard)
Also, I had a check engine light come on 5 minutes after an oil change. It turned out to be an O2 Sensor High Voltage warning code. My guess is that because the air filter was disturbed during inspection, it allowed for some debris to make its way to the sensor and triggering a fault code; is that even possible? The check engine light was reset and hasn't come back on. I was playing in puddles earlier on (nothing crazy), stalled it once the day before and also noticed electrostatic build up every time I get out of the thing. Any ideas as to why it could have been triggered?
Thank you!

Re: Clutch Question
My Jeep has always made a noise in the transmission. There isn't any sound deadening insulation. However, if it makes a lot of noise when you depress the clutch, that's a different story. Mine did that last year, so I replaced the clutch and throw-out bearing (throw-out bearing was shot).
