Brand new weather strip($122 at stealership)tailgate just contacts seal,is there a piece of trim on top edge of tailgate that i am missing?Just looks like there should be something to help seal the bottom of window Thanks

If your talking about when you have the rag top on the answer is YES. Right now you would have a gap between the window and the metal top of the door. There is a piece (cannot remember what its called-but I was missing mine too) but had the fortune to have a friend give me one. This piece slides in the grove alone the top part of the metal door when you close the window it seals out the light and of course stops the rain from entering. I will try to reach this friend and find out what the piece is called and repost here.

Thanks,I should have specified hard top.With the old weatherstrip the window would go over the tailgate.Maybe window sitting too high?Pic shows gate open on first "click"

Could be the angle of the picture but the tailgate appears to not be closing properly.

A couple more pics,the window gap is very small at the top which makes me think it needs to come down a bit.I did loosen the upper hinge to top bolts but couldent get much.Left side of gate sits about 2mm low,able to adjust tire carrier a bit to bring that up a bit.The hinges seem tight.
