wow you guys will love this one..!!
the squilling noise has stopped... it may come back who knows...spooky..
could have been the belt.. but listen to this.. I stopped by my local mech
told him what was going on.. and just incase it starts again i would like
an estimate. well of course he gave me one of what i thought. to replace
the throwout bearing and the whole shabang would be 650.00 then i went to
a transmission specialist my husband knows he told me and estimate for the
same thing for 325.00... and he told me its very unusual for a throwout
bearing to subside on the squilling once its already there... any feedback
on this ghost... i wonder if it was the belt.. but why... once it was
replace did it still squill and not now... could it be that it was
adjusting itself.. ?? i know that sounds stupied but being a girl .. im
grabing at long shots... thanks..

If you think it still might be the front, check the idler pulley on the
serpentine belt system. I had an XJ that had a bad idler pulley that sounded
like a belt.

If the belt was very slick it could have left traces on the pulleys.
I usually take a brass brush and brake-kleen to the pulley surfaces
before putting on a new belt.
