Re: Skyjacker 2" Spacer Kit ??Shocks??
From personal experience with both the the Skyjacker Nitros and the Doetsch
3000's, I'd strongly advise you not to get the Nitros. They are far too
stiff, on my '76 CJ they were unbearable and were immediately replaced with
Skyjacker Hydros. IMHO, for your application the 3000s would be superb.
On my '94 YJ I used the Doetsch 3000's for two years and was quite impressed
with them. Great control but soft riding. I added M.O.R.E. extended shocks
mounts this year and replaced the 3000s with 8000s, which are just a bit
firmer.

Re: Skyjacker 2" Spacer Kit ??Shocks??
I'd be willing the bet the Doetsch are better (from what I've read
around here anyway), which brings you back to the 4-6 week wait I
guess. :(

I just put the REBB on my TJ earlier this year. The Doetsch 3000s seem
good... not too harsh for me & mine is a daily driver. I think it rides
better than the OEM shocks.

Re: Skyjacker 2" Spacer Kit ??Shocks??
I just put the REBB on my TJ earlier this year. The Doetsch 3000s seem
good... not too harsh for me & mine is a daily driver. I think it rides
better than the OEM shocks.

Re: Skyjacker 2" Spacer Kit ??Shocks??
Those shocks are designed to keep the wheels on the ground. I
wonder what some of these cushy TJ owners would do if they rode in a new
leaf spring Corvette, designed to stick the tires to the payment and
pull one full gravity.
