Re: secure sound bar with top off?
Mount the bar using screws with a security head if you are really concerned.
Beyond that, there's nothing you can do. I'm sure it has happened but I've
never heard of one being stolen.

Re: secure sound bar with top off?
My '02 TJ has torx head bolts holding the sound bar in. That may not be the
most secure thing in the world, but I can't see a theif running to Sears to
grab a new driver just to steal a couple of crappy OEM speakers. Now, if
you've spent some change upgrading, you may wish to go for the security
screws....
But, then again, I live in Iowa. The only thing stolen around here is the
money farmers take from the government. (...donning flame-resistant
suit....)

Re: secure sound bar with top off?
L.O.L : Kevin where I work there is a welder that say's he would like the
feds to pay him a check when we slow down always in the fall. He says this
year he has a curved bill on a seed corn hat. And that he is also getting a
10 gallon farmers mail box. You know one of the big ones. I get a kick out
of old Bob.. He says why in the hell can't I get one of those Government
Checks anyway.
Jeep
Jimmie: Out here in the Corn Fields of Iowa.. Jeep O|||||||O Jeep And
looking for my check. L.O.L.

Re: secure sound bar with top off?
If you are putting serious dollars into an aftermarket stereo, a
hardtop and alarm are your best bet for keeping it secure.
