Most of them are trained to be psychopaths. No guilt rape, much like car
salesmen. Same training. Prey on the innocent and unsuspecting. Win
their trust and ram it home when they aren't looking.

heh, i dont doubt a word of it. just _once_ id like to buy a new vehicle
and come out of it feeling like everything was fair. on this deal in the
beginning i _thought_ the dealership was doing me a big favor by offering to
sell my '01 cummins dodge on consignment....told me it wouldnt cost me a
dime. i wanted $19,400 for it and since there was an identical truck on the
lot down the road for $24,000 i thought for sure they would sell it quickly.
a couple weeks later i got a call from the sales manager (owners son)
suggesting that i drop the price another $1,500 to sell it (an '01 dodge
cummins quad cab 4x4 diesel in PERFECT condition for $17,900 YEAH RIGHT!)
and i told him flat out no way in hell. i had a friend call down there to
ask them how much they wanted for the only '01 dodge cummins 4x4 on their
lot and they told him $23,800. NO WONDER it hadnt sold! strike one.
during financing they told me that the employee number on my relative was no
good (not true) so they couldnt honor the green sheet pricing. strike two,
we're settling that one now. to top it off they jacked up the chryco
interest rate to 17.2%? no thanks, i got my own credit union. strike 3.
to top it off they took my "made especially for nathan w. collier" window
sticker and they folded it up like a used hamburger wrapper and shoved it in
the glovebox, making it permanently creased
(http://7slotgrille.com/images/forump...bi/sticker.jpg you can see
the criss cross crease marks in the picture). now i know its just a sticker
and should be insignificant but it was MY sticker and they should have at
least asked if i wanted it folded.
after everything else they offered me a free tank of gas if i entered 100%
satisfaction on the chryco customer survey and bring it in to them to mail.
well, a free tank of gas just isnt that important to me and im going to be
honest in my customer survey. the sales staff was great, i couldnt have
asked for better treatment. they always made time to talk to me any time i
came down to check my status and they went out of their way to make it a
pleasurable experience for me. this will be noted. the management and
finance department however, will not get the same response. im glad its all
over, and im really glad to have my jeep.....but i do hate feeling dirty
anytime i buy a new vehicle.

There are good salesman and bad yes I think TWaldron got something rammed
up his *** during a car purchase and has a vendetta against all salesman!
Yes I am proud to sell Jeeps.. that is all I do... I sold cars for several
years before opening up my own car lot & when I opened up I told everyone I
was going to have nothing but Jeep Wranglers.. Everyone told me I was
crazy.. They are the best vehicles made in my opinion... yes they have
querks but they are very solid reliable and have the best resale value out
there... I dont know a lot of technicle sh*t like Bill & Mike and others but
I will help anyone in the sale of a wrangler with any questions where ever
they are buying.......I pride myself in what I do & I have sold over 1500
wranglers and have had 2 people mad at me due to something happening to the
Jeep after they bought it....well I help any way I can & if anyone has
questions about buying any vehicle in the future email & I can try to answer
any questions!
