Roof rack?
Sorry about all the questions, but I just found this group and think it's
great. My plain-jane 1993 XJ did not come with a factory roof rack. I have
spotted a used (OEM) that will fit my jeep (pretty cheap), and am wondering
how hard it would be to install. Would I need any special tools or kits?
TIA.

Re: Roof rack?
Installing a factory roof rack on your XJ will be a pain in the butt with
little payoff. The factory rack is pretty close to useless. You should
consider an aftermarket roof rack that will actually be of some use if you
are going to the trouble drilling holes. I just had mine off to do some
painting and if the money was available I would have upgraded. The only
reason I put it back on was to cover the bolt holes LOL!
