Removed airbag / Grant SW
Grant steering wheel kit # 3196 .
The above sw hub kit will fit a 99 TJ , and will probally fit most late
model TJ's. It does not say this on the box because they dont want to
encourage people to remove their air bag.
I pulled my steering wheel , and replaced it with a grant so i could get
rid of the DS airbag. I removed the air bag because i consider them
unsafe , and with a five point simpson harness in my TJ I am not going
anywhere unless I take the floor with me. I also installed the
removeable steering wheel kit. It makes it much eaiser to get in and out
since I installed a racing style bucket seat which has cutouts for the 5
point harness, and it also helps to make my jeep bullett proof from
theft. They would need to bring a flat bed to steel it now.
