Rear Hub Problem
Hi All,
I had my '94 XJ up on a hoist the other day checking something out and I
happened to also check the rear hubs . There seems to be an awful lot of
"float" in and out on the axle approximately 2 -3 mm.whats the problem , can
anyone help with a diagnosis.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear Hub Problem
Hi Neil,
Your axles are held in by "C" clips, it's normal:

Re: Rear Hub Problem
They will, if the c-clip breaks or pops out. But, even better, when the axle
on a D35 snaps the whole shebang will slide out, usually when you're out
somewher a long way from home...gotta love the cynical bastard that designed
the D35!
