Re: REWARD HELP! FIND STOLEN 1988 Jeep Cherokee
Thanks all for looking and good wishes.
The police just called me today around noon. They found my Jeep about 2
miles from where it was stolen.
I was only given the call #s of the officers and the location of the
station.
Strangely happy but very anxious I went to the police station. They said
they were processing the papers and please have a seat.
I waited around 45 minutes, so it seemed, but it was at least 20+ minutes.
I still knew very little about my Jeep except where they found it.
The officer F I N A L L Y told me to walk with him since he said he was
going to take me to my Jeep.
We walked out of the station and into the parking area where they have the
squad cars.
And there was my Jeep. One of the officers had driven my Jeep and put it in
their lot so it would be safe.
MAN talking about a happy person.
Damage:
Little window in RR door
Steering Column
Radio was torn up since it had a security lock on it.
(That is all I have seen so far and it is inside of my garage now!)
I'll know more later.
I am a HAPPY JEEPER again!!! <BG>

Re: REWARD HELP! FIND STOLEN 1988 Jeep Cherokee
Sounds like they just wanted to steal your radio to sell for drugs. That's
why I stick to factory radios, even on old jettas. Have not had a problem
yet. (Fingers crossed).
