Of course they will prosecute, once the investigation leads to indictments.
It would be much easier and less expensive for the taxpayers if the
Adminstration would identify who they are.
To answer your question, "What did the president know, and when did he know
it?" Makes you wonder why he retained a criminal attorney before he was
questioned by the Special Prosecutor...

prosecutor is not investigating the hijacking. Did he know about the leak,
when it happened? Seems to me, being the President, seeing that he is the
boss of whoever made the leak, he could find out who it was if he really
wanted to.
