Over drive solenoid in 97 Cherokee
I need some help diagnosing a problem with my 97 cherokee. It has a 4
liter 6 cylinder engine with 4 speed automatic. I ocasionaly get an
error code of 45, which is for an open or shorted overdrive solenoid,
and then of course overdrive does not kick in. I would like to know
the location of this solenoid. I figure that it is located just inside
of the tranny fluid pan, but am not sure. Because this problem comes
and goes, I suspect faulty wiring, but I don't know what wires to
check. If anybody can help, I would really apreciate it. Thanks.

Inside the pan, the overdrive servo is at the input end of body:
