No-lead foods WAS: Oil prices got you down?
It is thought by some that the chronic lead poisoning that is evident in
some Roman remains was caused by lead leaching into their wine and food from lead storage and cooking vessels, and from lead-based medicines and cosmetics. Lead plumbing or lead-based solder used in plumbing contributes little to modern lead intake -- unless you disturb the pipes and break the lime that has coated the inside. i was involved in testing for that with the feds and it went for 2 years and
