What kind of driving do you do?
If you check in the owners manual, it might mention sooner intervals for
'extreme duty' use. That means short stop and go trips not allowing the
engine to fully warm up or heavy duty off roading.
If I am doing mostly highway runs, I go longer. That is 'light duty'.
Mixed, then 3K is right on.
