Re: NY auto show pics
But remember the concept car Matt M. took a pictures of, they
didn't even finish the suspension, leaving the shock mount to hold the
weight of the car:

Even your silly TJ puts the coil mount on top of the axle.

Re: NY auto show pics
My question is who can afford them it appears DC is not looking at the blue
collar workers and they are servicing the higher end dufaces who just buy
them for bragging rights. Also, they would not know what off roading is let
alone even attempt to do it. DC is making more grocery getters instead of
work vehicles.

DC ought to axe those wannabes and not forget what "Jeep" means. I'm
glad I got my TJ now, before the rumors say it will be killed.
The Gladiator actually looks decent, but could use a little more
traditional (CJ) style front-end. If its production matches the
concept then it could replace my pickup when it dies of old age.
Forget the H3, the Gladiator appears to be a decent alternative to
having a Wrangler and a pickup, but not a replacement for the
CJ/Wrangler heritage.
Well, if DC can't stick with "Jeep" then there will be a perfect
opportunity for someone to start up a "specialty" automobile
manufacturer to produce Real J**Ps.
