New Jeep owner - need advice
Hi,
Proud first-time Jeep owner of an '04 X, softtop.
I'm interested in fitting my Jeep with a combination bikini top,
rear-window, tonneau cover, similar to the Bestop models I've found on
many websites.
Bestop, however, says the kit they sell will not fit an '04 model.
I bought before realizing that some after-market parts seem to lag about
1-2 years behind the current model year.
After many web searches, I've located a Mopar version of this top
(expensive!), carried through the following website:
http://www.jeepworld.com/accessories.../sunbonnet.htm
I've got two questions I'm looking for advice on:
1) Anyone done business with jeepworld.com? Are they reputable?
2) Although the web page referenced above indicates compatibility with the
'04 models, I'm worried about the soundbar. From the pictures on the
website, I can't see how the soundbar is accomodated by the kit, or
whether the roof and/or rear window would even work with a soundbar in
place.
Note: I'm not worried about the fact that the soundbar will be outside
and exposed to the elements (are there any solutions to this - perhaps a
cover of some kind?). I'm only asking if the presence of the soundbar
will interfere with installation of the kit.
Thanks very much for any help or advice.

If it will fit an '03, it will fit your '04.
