My 95 Jeep Cherokee Sport turns off at random times! Help!
My 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4.0L, 4WD, inline V6, will stall after
the engine gets warm. 95% of the time it will start up again after a
minute or two. I have a new distributor, plugs and plug wires and
everything is getting fire.
If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate it.

Re: My 95 Jeep Cherokee Sport turns off at random times! Help!
Dirty connection on the CPS.
The connection is just above the exhaust manifold on the drivers side
behind the throttle body.
Pull it open and clean the contacts with a contact cleaner or WD40.
Heat affects bad connections and the CPS is only passing a computer
signal, not a power signal so it is really sensitive to the slightest
corrosion.

I dunno about your mechanical problem, but where can I get me one of
those inline V6s? Sounds way cool.

Ninety nine and nine tenths percent of time it will be the Crank
Position Sensor going bad:

The other tenth is the fuel pump gaves up at a hundred and fifty
thousand miles.
