Light scratches in plastic windows
Posting this for Alex Gregory in Aussie Land:
Sorry to bother mate but I can't post for some reason!
Am just wondering I have a softop wrangler with plastic windows... Is there
anyway to get light scratches out of the plastic windows???? don't wanna pay
the $690 Australian per window!!

Heard good things about Meguiars for polishing out scratches

But I think it's easier to simply put some big scratches in the
windows. That way you don't worry about the light ones. :)

But I think it's easier to simply put some big scratches in the
windows. That way you don't worry about the light ones. :)

That price seems excessive. I don't know the exchange rate or the amount of
gouging that goes on, but a Bestop tinted window kit for my YJ costs about
$150.00 in the States. Contact http://www.4wd.com or another Bestop vendor
and ask whether they ship overseas. Be warned however that new windows
acquire scratches almost immediately. As far as removing scratches, I
haven't heard of any reliable method. Heat gun? Too risky...
