Not really, the seals are made from various polymers such as buna, EPDM
etc. and are typicall well designed to keep their shape for a looooooon
time. Seals 'wear out' primarily due to frictional wear ... (so
consider to replace every damn seal when you get to 200,000+ mi. -
which is a good thing).

As long as the miles are put on in reasonable (say 10 miles or better)
chunks so the engine gets good and warm, every month or so, it will last
a VERY long time. Sitting for 6 months or more lets things dry out,
short one mile trips loads the engine with water and acids.
