My *wonderful* girlfriend just bought me my first soft top for my '90 YJ a
few days ago. She doesn't know much about the things so she just went
factory...meh.

I have not yet put it on...but does anyone have any amazing, life changing
tips on how to keep this damn thing clean?

I imagine I will get a hang of putting it on and taking it off, but i
imagine the first few times will be rough.

'90 YJ - 1.5" lift, 31x10.5 Roughriders, Tuffy, Alpine, Sony

 

Normal washing with warm, soapy water and a sponge. Then, spray on some 303
Protectant.
