That would be because most of the un-modified TJs are being driven as _cars_. The loss of the "Jeep wave" is the cost of popularization. Prediction: It is just a matter of time before we see a Jeep descendant with fake wood paneling on the sides. I find it's in the city that I don't always
get a wave. There are way too many Jeeps in the city to be able to wave at all of them. Some intersections, I have to use both hands and feet to wave at all four or five Jeeps.
