Jeep group in July 4th parade
<wave>
Hey yous guys,
My niece was in a parade today, so my wife and I went to watch it
(Zelienople, PA). Near the end, the Heritage Region Jeep Alliance
(www.hrja.org) had a few of its members present in the parade. They
ordered them by age, from a reconditioned MB38 leading the way, back
through the various CJs and XJs, followed by a few YJs and TJs, with a
Rubicon (looked stock) bringing up the rear guard. All in all it was
an impressive display of toys (mud and trail rash proudly displayed).
Back when I bought my first YJ, I considered joining their group, but
then the divorce hit and I had to shelve any plans I had for fun.
Did anyone else have a Jeep group in their parades? Granted, Zelie is
as small a town as you can get, so they were probably hurting for
entries (never have I seen so many Farmall tractors outside of the
farm show and steam tractor shows around here).
Later,
Travis

Re: Jeep group in July 4th parade
Every year in the 4th of July Parade in Monroeville, PA the Triangle 4
Wheelers have a number of jeeps. I know my dad took 2 of his army jeeps out
there today.
