Yeah I cant recall ever buying a bottle of 134a from Dupont. All that
lobbying sure did pay off. <snicker>

Re: I need R-12
Nathan, I am thinking bad o-rings as the likely cause of leak. I have had
real good luck with vehicles of this vintage replacing all the o-rings. Of
course if you have to pay someone to do it it sounds like a lot of labor,
but really there aren't that many o-rings in the AC system of a Cherokee.

Well, that's because Interdynamics and SUVA are in on it also. ;-)
Now, ya'all can listen to someone who learned everything he knows
about AC while sitting around the pickle barrel, or you can
listen to someone who's signature is on a shitload of 609

To be honest, it's for my own selfish reasons...
I like my hair and my eyeballs right where they are now!
In case Snobomb couldn't figure out how to make the movie play;
That really was a FIREBALL.
It really did BLOW the windows out of the car.
That really was BLOOD streaming down that guys face.
Those really were BANDAGES on that guys hands.
It really was a MIRACLE that no one lost an eye.
They really WERE demonstrating how safe HC refrigerants are. (not)
YOU really ARE giving out foolish and hazardous advice.

To be honest, it's for my own selfish reasons...
I like my hair and my eyeballs right where they are now!
In case Snobomb couldn't figure out how to make the movie play;
