How many Jeep owners does it take to change a light bulb?
How many Jeep owners does it take to change a light bulb?
One to change the light bulb and to post that it has been changed.
Fourteen to share similar experiences and how said light bulb could have
been changed differently
Seven to caution about the possible dangers of changing light bulbs
Six to argue over if it is a "light bulb" or a "light bulb", and another 6
to condemn those 6 as being stupid
Two industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp
Sixteen know-it-alls, who claim they are in the industry and that light bulb
is perfectly correct.
Nineteen to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take
this discussion to a light bulb forum
Eleven to defend the posting to this forum, saying that we all use light
bulbs, therefore the post is indeed relevant to this forum
Thirty-six to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where
to buy these bulbs, what brand works best for this technique, and what
brands are faulty
Five people to post pictures of their own light bulbs in the 4x4 forum and
One fool to post a binary to this group
Fifteen people to post , I can't see their %$#%!*&% light bulbs.
Seven people to post URL's where one can see examples of light bulbs
Four to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly, and then post the
corrections.
Thirteen to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety, including
all headers and signatures, and add "Me Too
Four people to engage in a diatribe about why top posting is un-cool
Five posts to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot
handle the light bulb controversy
Twelve people to say that a real jeep would not have trailered the bulb to
the house
Four to say that a real jeep owner would have gone and gotten another drink
while the old lady changed the light bulb
Ninety four people to say that none of the other people were real jeep
owners
Some **** to start spouting that he is an original 1 percent
Four to say "didn't we go through this a short time ago?"
Thirteen to say, do a search on light bulbs before posting a question on
light bulbs
One to ask if it is best to use synthetic oil for the light bulb
Twelve people to say that light bulbs don't use oil
Four to say that synthetic is always better.
Eight to say that synthetic oil will not allow the light bulb to seat
properly and will flatten out the bearings
One Amsoil salesman to try and get a plug in for his snake oil
One to bring politics into the discussion, by adding that the current
president is not the brightest bulb
Four more to get into personal attacks over their political views
One person to ask if the light bulb was obtained from a dealer
Three people then chime in that the light bulbs from their aftermarket
dealer are just as good and a lot cheaper
Two people to say that only a girl would drive a jeep 4 cylinder to the
light bulb store.
Thirteen people to take anything said about a Jeep personally.
One moderator to lock the light bulb thread
One forum lurker to post to the original thread 6 whole months from now, and
start it all over again

The recommended summer time blinker fluid is #80 gear oil ... the OP
was obviously using 10w30 ... or the ground strap between the blinker
and the firewall is corroded.
