Grand Wagoneer Heater control unit
Hello again. I need help locating the vacuum source for the heater
control unit on a 1986 Grand Wagoneer. None of the vent doors open.
I checkd the unit and all ports and hoses seem fine. I believe there
is an outlet on the firewall in the engine compartment but am not sure
where it hooks up. This site has been very useful in the past but
seems to have been overrun by a group of chowderheads who only seem
interested in trading insults or selling non-related products. Is
ther another site/group that these miscreants have not taken over?
This is my 4th posting on this subject without one response. Please
help.

Re: Grand Wagoneer Heater control unit
You would be looking for a port off the intake manifold. On the 258, it
is on the back driver's side corner.
Sorry about not finding your post with all the crap showing.
The idiot doing it has unfortunately gone insane and can't see he is
destroying the group.
