Only that you will need to find a "non-idiotic" smog place to have it
smogged. Call around to find out if they've done a MPI'd jeep before. Or
call to some local jeep shops and get they're recommendations.

Re: Fuel Injection

Since Jeff Strickland resides in California, it must not be difficult.
Besides, all you have to do is make sure any FI kit you buy is certified
for use in California. Don't know of anyone who installs them, those I
know who did installed them theirselves.

Re: Fuel Injection

Run, don't walk to the nearest installation center, or go buy the kit and
install it yourself.

I installed the Kit and a Borla header in the same operation, and the
results are astounding. The power increased and the fuel mileage increased
as well. Add to that the benefit if actually passing Smog so I could even
drive my Jeep.

The Mopar Kit is approved in California, the Borla header is too. If you
elect to install the kit yourself, do not hesitate to completely remove the
left fender, this will greatly open the work area. Be sure to install the
stickers provided with the kit so the Smog Nazis will allow the mods, and do
not forget to use the Check Engine light. The directions infer that the
Check light is an option, but CA laws require it.
