Front SOA
Got the front perches welded on my YJ today, spring on brake lines extended.
Everything went on pretty easy and ALL bolts were replaced with new bolts
(spring bolts, u-bolts, ect). The drag link does want to hit the passenger
spring so I don't have steering untill I get the drop pitman arm in the
mail. We did have to cut some of the inside of the driver's side spring
perch to sit correctly on the axle. Ended up with about 6" in the front.
Can't wait to do the rear!

How hard is the pitman arm to remove?

Hi Carl,
You're going to lose most of it's strength, bending it from
straight, I think I would heat it and cool it in oil to give a spring
strength. I think you'll find it temporary, until you move the knuckle
arms above the springs, as i can't imagine anyone to sell a bent one, in
this litigious society.
