Fender flare cleaning
Anyone know of a product to clean the fender flares on a 00 TJ, They have
white residue near where they touch the body from waxing the jeep , and it
looks horibble..

Re: Fender flare cleaning
I use the purple tire goo that Meguiars has. Works nice, leaves them kind of shiny.
Helps to clean them well first.
Some folks have said that Mothers Back to black works well too.

The Meguiars also makes them a bit sticky, so bits of dirt and
mud cling better, making it look more like a real Jeep. It does
smell sorta like bubble gum to me, so if you have rugrats, you
may need to keep them from gnawing on your flares...
