Enough trollery! Brake line/Master Cylinder issues.
Time to get started on bending up my brake lines. The new ProRock 60
comes without brake lines, so today I went to Orme Brothers in
Northridge, CA and had them swage up a pair of stainless braid
extensions while I waited. I got 3/16" brake line in two 10' STRAIGHT
lengths. These guys are tops.
I wish Dynatrac had installed a post to affix the ...I forget the
name...the whattyacallit ( the block with the hole in it that tees the
flex line to the hard-plumbed lines.) I guess I'll use the driver's side
axle plug with an adapted capped pipe to hold it.
I researched Google for discussion on the upgrading of the master
cylinder, to accomodate the extra capacity of 11" rear drums and front
disc brakes.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a suitable, easy to find
replacement MC that will do the trick? I doubt I'll find a 79 Mercury MC
with much luck, which was the unit spoken about previously.
