I don't think it's worth it, especially if you get hung up in some
of the SMOG laws, trying to reregister it. Here's a well documented swap
into a YJ:

Hi Greg,
You might run it by the shop you have it certified at, see if
they're OK with swaps. You might also add up your guestimated time,
parts and see you may add that to your car and trade it.
