The 1970s-style CJ speedo has a little idiot light window in it that reads
"Emergency drive". I've never seen any type of Jeep that actually used
this feature, but while looking over my transfer case the other day (the
engine and tranny are back in the frame, the body goes on Real Soon Now) I
noticed those little plastic plugs over the transfer case shifter rails.
The plugs fit in threaded holes that look almost shallow enough to accept
a reverse-light switch.

Just for *****-n-giggle, has anyone here successfully put a switch in
their transfer case to make this idiot light work?
