Driver door hinge replacement, '94 Gr. Cherokee
Greetings fellow Jeep owners!!
The driver-door hinges on my 1994 Gr. Cherokee are worn. According to
the dealer it's possible to change the hinge pins, saving the
considerable expense of replacing the entire hinge assembly. They even
suggested that I could do it myself!! Does anyone know the procedure
for replacing the pins? This operation is not included in my Haynes
Manual.

The same way porcupines make love,
"very carefully"
Actually after looking at my 93 the pins appear to be swaged in place.
That would require cutting. Wish I had a better answer. Might ask
the dealers mechanic if someone has done it and if they would give you
a clue or two. mebby mic canic has done this?
