Car stereo wiring harness for 1994 Jeep Cherokee doesn't fit
Anybody know what kind of car stereo wiring harness to use for a 1994 Jeep
Cherokee? I got this one that is listed for Chrysler/Plymoth/Dodge/Jeep
1985-2002 at the local auto store, it is 2 rectanglar plugs each with a
hump on either side. The socket on the original stereo is a rectanglar 13
pin plug like this:
o o o o o o o
o o o o o o
The original stereo has 'JEEP' stamped on the cassette door so I assume it
is OEM. The stereo also has the wiring labeled so it's no problem to
rewire as long I can get a plug that fits.
oh yeah thanks to everyone who help out with the oil leak problem, it is
now fixed.

It looks like certain models of Jeep, Dodge and Eagle use different
connectors, namely Scosche JE01 or Metra 71-1002. Will try one of those if
I can find them.

If it doesn't just plug together, Radio Shack will have the
adapters. Harness code:
