Canada west coast lo water levels
Thought eveyone might be interested in a few pics of the lo water levels
here on the west coast of Canada, pics over at
alt.binaries.pictures.autos.4x4 . 3 pics of Lois Lake here in Powell River,
BC. Jeeps included.
And for Mike Romain, you lived on Vancouver Island for a while, don't know
if you saw on news last month, the resort town of Tofino almost had to close
down due to water shortages, a bussiness man stepped up and put up 50 grand
to truck water in.
I did fire fighting for about 5 years, 20 years ago, so I always sort of
take note of how dry each summer is, never seen it like this before.

Hi Greg,
Bummer! The whether is strange, I thought I remember Seattle being
wash of the map last year. The pictures you posted showed an area that
was dry for at least fifties years before it was flooded. A man made
reservoir? We in Southern California have had several droughts, followed
by floods:
http://watersupplyconditions.water.c...s%20H2O%20.gif
Year before last not any measurable rain over three hundred days. The
temperatures are nicer, never colder than a bout sixties, nor hotter
than ninety during these past ten years in Vista.

I have a friend up in Pictou N.S. that had to buy a truck load of water last
week, her well went dry.
When she said she had to buy a truckload of water, that she had run out, I
thought she was pulling my leg.

spring.
Nah, I'm over it. :-)
