Camp Jeep - has anyone here ever gone?
We are thinking it might be fun to go but there are a million questions I
need to ask and nowhere do I see on the website (jeep.com) information about
things like lodging or camping and what to bring or not....
So, here I am bugging ya'll

A couple folks in my off-road club went to the one in Virginia a couple
years ago. They enjoyed it, lots of stuff for the family. You could probably
google lodging in Elkhart Lake. If I wasn't doing a trip to Leadville this
summer I'd probably go too, it's not too far...well, not as far as Colorado.
You might also consider a Jeep Jamboree (jeepjamboreeusa.com), you're bound
to find one close by, there's even one at Coal Creek TN.

Ohhhhhhhh.... that would be even better!
Since we don't have any little kids, I would rather be in a group that was
largely populated by adults, a Jamboree might be teh ticket.
Camp Jeep looks less expensive than a Jamboree though.

Once you figure in that the Jambos include most meals and aren't as much of
a blatant D-C commercial, it's probably a wash. IIRC Camp Jeep's food is a
la carte, pay as you go. I might be wrong.
