99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Cold Starting Problems
I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 6cyl. Each time I try to start
the jeep when the engine is cold it takes at least 10 seconds before
the engine starts; however, after it starts, I can cut the engine and
restart it and it starts immediately. Any suggestions?

Re: 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Cold Starting Problems
My guess is your fuel pressure bleeds off, back to the tank. If you
turn on the ignition on without cranking each time the fuel pump will
run two seconds, cycle it at least five times, then start, if it starts
normally you have found the problem is the pressure regulator back at
the tank: http://www.----------.com/WJfuelFilterRegulator.pdf Or it may
be a bad injector as apparently Doug Wilson, here has found, or smelled.

Re: 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Cold Starting Problems
there is a tsb for replacing orings on the fuel pump assembly that prevents
bled off of fuel casuing a long cranktime
