98 ZJ Liftgate and Alarm Problems
My liftgate sensor (window or gate - not sure) says the gate is open
whenever I flex the car. Like going around a corner or into a parking
lot.
Occasionally the alarm goes off because it thinks the liftgate is open.
1. I would like to disable the factory alarm.
2. Any ideas on adjusting the sensors for the liftgate.
Thank you.

The sensor in mine is a tilt sensor (mercury switch) but you could check
around the door for ye olde button. Generally it's a make when open
switch so disconnecting the line would take it out of the circuit.
