Re: '96 GC Air Conditioner Woes
Hi Bill,
It wasn't that may years ago when we could access the whole unit
from the engine side. About four bolts and I can change the evaporator,
or heater core in my '78 Bronco. Both my '84 and '89 Bird's heater
failed. :-( In Kalifornia we don't need a no stinkin' heater, but it
would be nice to be able to remove the condensed water from the inside
of my windshields.

Re: '96 GC Air Conditioner Woes
That's not the part of So. California I came from. Down in the
twenties many times in the winter. Smudge pots and later wind
machines for the citrus groves. When I was in high school we covered
our engines at night with blankets. Of course I suppose people in
Alaska could do without a heater too, but.....................

Re: '96 GC Air Conditioner Woes
He didn't have orders, patient consent, or medical justification. That is
what the Letter of Admonition is all about. The last time I talked to him
he told me that "I am a registered nurse, I have an associate's degree, you
can't question me, you don't know what I know". At the end he was screaming
so loud my other neighbor heard it. Then he went and told the Board of
Directors of the Ambulance Association that I was crazy, and not to listen
to me.
This was all OK with me. It was like pulling teeth, getting the Nursing
Board to write that letter, but in the end they did it. His buddies who
supported him, a county commissioner and a sheriff, have some pretty hard
questions to answer come next election. Now I have a new hobby, politics.
