94 yj clutch issues
I just jumped in my jeep and pressed the clutch and turned the key.
Instead of it starting, the jeep lurched forward and the "check
engine" light came on temporarily. The pedal is suddenly total mush
now. I thought it might be a cable, assuming its a cable system -
seemed logical, as though a cable snapped when it lurched forward. Now
as I look into it, its not a cable clutch system and there is
something unique about the 94's I can't seem to figure out what it
could be, plus and its dark out now and I can't see. Anyone else have
this happen and if so, what was it? as usual the timing of this
sucks....

It is hydraulically operated, check it's reservoir. Then take you finger
and whip it's the push rod off from under the dash, and the bottom of the
flywheel, clutch bellhousing and see if it smells like brake fluid, to tell
you where it's leaking. http://www.----------.com/clutch/

My guess is that your clutch slave cyl just died. What engine do
you have?
Is there a puddle of brake fluid under your yj?
